Gibson unveils 1959 ES-335 reissue

The company has suggested that the $5,649 (£4,000) instrument, which is available in Antique Custom and Antique Vintage Sunburst, is one of the most faithful reissues ever, recreating the model's famous sound through the use of 1957 Classic humbucking pickups. "Gibson Custom's limited production 1959 ES-335 Dot Reissue captures this desirable classic in greater detail than any reissue-style guitar previously produced," the official website said.
